Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/21/2021 211991754 Summary: On July 20, 2021 at around 11:44 a.m., an officer was dispatched to 955 Spring St NW on information on a larceny call. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the reporting party who advised someone gained entry into his apartment and stole multiple pieces of expensive jewelry. He did admit he was unsure if he locked the front door to his residence when he left the apartment.   The officer responded to the same location earlier that day and spoke with the same reporting party who advised after meeting a woman in the city, he brought her back to his apartment, where he caught her trying to still one of his watches.  She left the residence visibly upset and a short time later, he left the apartment and attempted to locate her. He believes the suspect may have re-entered his unlocked apartment while he was away and stole multiple pieces of his jewelry. Investigators were notified of the incident and the investigation remains ongoing.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
