What a mess

I'm not really wanting people to necessarily contact me, but you can text if several of us can all get together on this. I've never posted anything like this or arranged it but I am full of good ideas. I moved here to Las Cruces in 2014. I told my friends back home how CLEAN this town was. It was nice not seeing garbage everywhere. But now with our current.. Whatever you want to call it, I don't want to bring up political opinions, but I have noticed that our once beautiful city is getting trashier by the day. Look around.. Everything from shopping carts in the arroyos, garbage, hypodermic needles, dead animals, and more.. We all need to figure a way to have a day scheduled for meet up, volunteer trash pick up, once a month, and we all meet at a park. And decide who wants to go to what area to begin, or start in our neighborhoods and have get togethers once a month. And work outwards. Are the prisoners no longer coming out to do this anymore? It's getting bad! I tried a week ago to pick up along the trail that is by my house, but I can't do it myself. Can the city donate bags for this purpose ( not for our personal use at home). I lived in a ghetto in Colorado. I don't want to live like that after working so hard to move here. Thank you.
