Description

Please read the whole description before asking for photos. Thank you! 13 year old small female. Was scheduled to be euthanized by her previous owner for what they described to me as “severe fear aggression.” She will take some time (probably a week) to warm up to you and is picky about what people and dogs she likes, but she has shown no signs of aggression at all. We have become fast friends and I have not done anything special with her, other than be patient and pay attention to her behavioral queues. I believe that she just needs someone who is willing to be patient with her and work alongside her quirks. Since arriving at my house she has progressed quickly to allow and ask me to pet her, give belly rubs, eat out of my hands, pick her up to put her on the bed or into the car, and let me clean around her eyes. She does an excited dance when I get home and absolutely loves to go for short walks with me. She’s very loyal and will love anyone who takes the time to go at her pace. She is spayed and house trained. As a blanket statement I would say she should be the only dog, but she has done VERY well with some of the dogs in my home so I would consider a trial with another dog if they are a senior or have low energy. She has not shown interest in my cat at all. Please be kind about the rehoming as I am not the original owner of this dog, but rather someone who wanted to save her life, and I will not rehome her unless the situation is perfect. If you have questions or think you can provide a good home and want to see photos of her please let me know via email. We have been blown off twice already at meet and greets so please only inquire if you are truly considering her. Small rehoming fee applies.
