We specialize in repairing aircraft engine mounts (4130 tubular structures) and aluminum welded aircraft fuel tanks. We also perform numerous other types of weld repairs or fabrication for general aviation and commercial aviation industries. We are family owned and operated. www.loreeair.com WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?: Loree Air, Inc. is looking for someone who is well-rounded in their skill set and willing to learn. Some jobs you may be asked to do are: basic fabrication tasks, grinding, sand blasting, paint stripping, shipping/receiving duties, material and hardware stock management, painting, daily shop clean-up and other tasks vital to the operation of the company. Must be proactive, energetic, responsible person with a great work ethic and good people skills. As we are a small shop, you must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as a team member. DRUG TESTING: We are a drug free corporation, and a drug test is a requirement for employment. Random Drug/Alcohol testing is required for this position by the FAA. HOURS AND COMPENSATION: This is a permanent, full time, 40 hour/week position with no travel. Monday- Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Some overtime will be expected (not common). This job will be paid on an hourly basis. Compensation will be determined by evaluating the potential employee's experience and skill levels. Employees with more than 1 year of employment will have the opportunity to choose a medical plan offered by Loree Air and will have the opportunity to contribute money to a 401k with matching opportunities from Loree Air. Also after one year of employment, employees will begin to accrue paid time off. There are 6 paid holidays throughout the year in addition to PTO. EXPERIENCE: Experience in the following is strongly encouraged: Operating mills, lathes, plasma cutter, bending brake, shear, horizontal/vertical band saw and grinders. Reading and understanding blueprints and their symbols. Tubing fabrication and fitting (coping). Metal fabrication hand tools. Basic Geometry and Trigonometry. Weld inspection and crack detection. Painting with gravity feed or bottom feed spray gun. RESPONSIBILITIES: When hired you will be expected to: Maintain metal shop inventory and consumables inventory. Work on multiple tasks throughout the work day. Work independently as well as in a team setting. Have good time management. Have clean and organized work habits. Maintain a daily log of the work performed.
