I'm a male artist who draws the male physique from life. If you are pleased with your physique you may wonder how an artist would portray it. You may have wondered what it would be like to pose. If you would like to pose, I'll consider you as a model. I don't draw everyone who offers, but if I think I'd be able to do good pastel drawings with you as a model, I will invite you to pose. I do best with men of slender, regular, or muscular build. You don't need to be experienced at this. Most of my models have never posed before but are intrigued by the idea and want to give it a try. The session is relaxed and low-key. I draw quickly: the man does not have to hold a pose for long. I do not pay the model but instead give him his favorite of the pastel drawings I do of him -- a signed original, suitable for framing. I've been doing this for years, and it has worked out well -- some of the models have come back to pose again. Some have become my friends.
