OmniFoods is looking for an experienced chef for a three-day event on September 23-25, 2021 to help prepare and sample our new plant-based OmniPork product line. We would love to find someone passionate about plant-based cuisine to join us for this event! As a member of our team, you would play an instrumental role in helping us to launch at our first trade show in the United States for thousands of attendees! We will be having ongoing events in the East Coast region and would love to form an ongoing partnership with the right candidate. Qualifications & Requirements include:
• Experience with pan and air frying food, stir fry, veggie prep and general confidence in culinary skills
• Strong time management skills and comfort with working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal direction, and highly organized to work neatly in a small space
• Handle all cooking and cleaning duties each day, including prep for the next day in advance
• Able to travel to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
• Excellent communication skills, dependable, and a team player
• Interest in plant-based cuisine
Event Hours: Thurs. September 23 & Fri. September 24 - 9am to 6pm, and Sat. September 25 - 9am to 4pm (a total of 25 hours)
Compensation: There will be compensation provided, DOE
