Description
Design Science is looking for first responders (fire fighters, police, those who are EMT, BLS, or other first responder type certified), who have experience administering NARCAN (naloxone) via nasal spray.
Participants will provide feedback on the ease of use and design of a treatment device that will be used to treat individuals suffering from an opioid overdose. Participants will attend a 60 minute session. The study will take place in July 26th – 29th in Evanston, IL (validated parking is available). Participants will be compensated an honorarium of $150+ after completing the session.
Please note that, although you will be interacting with a medical device, you will NOT administer any medication to yourself or another person. The device will contain a placebo solution and you will only simulate its use. If you are interested in participating, please sign up here () for more information.
