Love working with kids and looking for fun part time work? We are looking for staff who are available to substitute in our after school care program during the school year which starts 9/1 and goes to the end of June. Our hours of operation for the school year is Monday and Wednesday 12:45-6:00 and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2:00-6:00. Ideally the sub job is for someone interested in year round flexible work who is creative, reliable and great at working with kids. The position can start asap as a summer camp sub if that is desireable. Work for a great organization! Green Lake School Age Care Program (GLSA) is a state licensed, nonprofit social and emotional learning based child care program dedicated to creating meaningful relationships with children and working together with families to help raise caring, socially aware, happy and emotionally intelligent young people. Job duties: Staff work to provide a fun, playful and safe environment for children, facilitate planned activities with them, take them on outdoor play outings and help children with any social or emotional difficulties they experience. Staff also follow Department of Health safety guidelines for Covid. Job requirements: Staff are required to pass a back ground check upon hiring, be CPR/1st Aid certified or complete upon hiring and provide documentation of a negative TB test. All staff must be willing to maintain safe social distancing standards while employed with us. The program pays for/ reimburses for the cost of all required certifications. *Our program follows the Department of Health safety guidelines for Covid-19. Spaces are sanitized several times throughout the day, we create 3 feet of distance between play spaces whenever possible and staff, children and parents all where masks while at the center.
