Description
I am on the hunt for a new home for a Leopard Gecko. I think he'd be a great classroom pet. He's easier than a goldfish and a bit more interesting too!
His care: he needs to eat mealworms, or grub worms, or waxworms about two to three times a week. If you buy them from Petco/PetSmart, a $5- $10/mo budget is realistic. He needs fresh water, and his cage is easy to clean. He also likes to eat grasshoppers and grub worms found in the garden.
He'll come with a heat pad for the winter, a terrarium, a plant, and his hides.
He can be picked up/handled, but it's rarely necessary.
What can he offer?
A nice show when he sheds and eats his own old dead skin,
dramatic fun watching him devour meals, a cute smile,
easy going companionship,
He's a low maintenance roommate
$50 re-homing fee - hoping he'll go to a responsible person.
