Who we are:
Established in 2012, Bumblebee Batteries, LLC was among the first mail-order hybrid battery companies in the US.
We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented full-time employee for shipping, receiving, and general shop upkeep. You will be responsible for the daily shipping of customer orders, receiving shipments and cores as well as general shipping upkeep. We do have 2 shops that are just a few blocks apart. A company car is available for transportation back and forth and taking packages to shipping companies. A valid drivers license is required for this position.
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 10am-6pm
Essential duties:
Shipping customer orders
Receiving incoming shipments and packages
Packing and shipping batteries for recycling
Cleaning and Organizing
Repair of reusable shipping crates
Keeping inventory of shipping supplies
There may also be additional projects related to shipping and shop upkeep
Side tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Must be proficient at learning new software
Familiarity with general warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and tape guns
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to lift 70+ lbs unassisted
Desire to learn
Practice good housekeeping by maintaining a clean and organized work area
Must be able to accurately differentiate between similar but different objects and numbers
Valid driver's license
