Voyant Beauty is seeking to add a reliable, dynamic, self-starter Maintenance Mechanic to oversee installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's machinery and equipment. Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for setting up production lines to run products as specified. Seasonal Hourly Rates starting at $24.00! Job Functions: Sets up production equipment to run scheduled production. Discusses difficulties in operating equipment with machine operators to isolate problems, and then troubleshoots machine to determine cause and repairs required. Performs necessary repairs on equipment to keep it in top running order. Carries out required preventative maintenance on equipment. Assists in determining required design modifications and makes approved modifications to equipment. Performs tasks in accordance with approved procedures and following all safety procedures. Understands fully the intent of the cGMP's. Provides coverage for mechanics on other shifts, as needed. Performs other related duties as required. Understands the change control process. Dismantles production and manufacturing equipment and devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, install new or repaired parts, and reassemble the equipment and ensure production standard rates Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Follows required Preventative Maintenance schedule by repairing defective parts, installing special functional and structural parts in equipment or devices, and lubricating and cleaning of parts and or equipment. Starts equipment and devices to test their performance. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 2 to 4-year of relevant working experience. Understanding of preventive maintenance. Understanding of the fundamentals of electrical PLC components. Certification will be advantageous. Experience in planning maintenance operations (Must). Experience in pharma, health and beauty industries will be advantageous (Not a must). Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical systems, etc. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment. Ability to keep track of and report on activity Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines and achieve results, while maintaining high quality
