I am an experienced farmer with cows, chickens, turkeys, koi, cats, and a dog. I grew up farming, worked in Veterinary medicine for over 20 years, then human nursing for 5 years. 2 years ago I decided to focus on farming/homesteading full time. I am a gleaner, which means I gather food that is going to be discarded and use it to feed my animals. My animals have a healthy diet with a variety of foods, not commercial feed, that is free. Many farmers spend so much on feed, they can't break even with costs. My eggs and meat are some of the best you will ever have. Recently, I was diagnosed with a progressive degenerative muscle wasting disease. I am rapidly loosing my ability to farm. I am looking for anyone who wants to learn and isn't afraid of hard work. I have a lot of knowledge and experience to share in exchange with some help here on my small farm.
