Are you a mom of a child between the ages of 3-10 years? Mothers and children are needed for a research study on diet and taste preferences. The study involves two phone calls that will last 1-1.5 hours and one in-person visit at the Monell Center (3500 Market St.) in West Philly that will last < 1 hour. If you qualify, mothers and children will participate in a number of study activities: • We will measure mothers and children’s taste and food preferences • We will have mothers recall what foods and beverages they and their child ate the previous day during 2 phone calls. • We will weigh and measure the height of mothers and children. • We will collect strands of hair from mothers and children Mothers will be compensated $150 for participation and $10 for travel costs to the Center.
