DFW area drainage contractor has two immediate openings for experienced labor positions. Positions are full time with weekly pay, including overtime. We're willing to train the right people but really need motivated, self starters that are ready to work. Responsibilities: 1) Measuring, cutting, and installing PVC pipe drains and fittings. 2) Using rotary laser and grade rod to get positive slope and proper elevation in drainage trenches. 3) Digging trenches by hand and machine to depths of between two and five feet. 4) Back filling trenches with gravel and soil by hand and machine. 5) Cleaning and caring for our trucks, tools and equipment. Requirements: 1) Communicate and work well with others. 2) Conduct yourself in a professional and workmanlike manor. 3) Basic Math skills. 4) Reliable transportation to get to and from our equipment yard location. 5) Minimum of One Year experience in drain work, trench work or related construction work. General conditions: Hours of operation are 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Requires work outside in all types of weather. Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs of material. Occasional travel out of town for up to 5 days at a time with one weeks’ notice in advance. We pay for meals, lodging and transportation. Time and a half is paid for all hours over 40 per week. Paid vacation after one year of work. Helpful but not required: 1) Proficiency in operating a skid steer loader. 2) Proficiency in operating a Mini-Excavator. 3) Bilingual in English and Spanish.
