Fontana, California based Heavy Equipment Dealer is looking for an experienced TECHNICAN to fill an open Service Technician position at our FONTANA, CA branch. Duties will include repairs, reconditions, and services various trucks and Heavy Equipment machines, systems and components. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions and failures of machine and engines systems, and their components. Essential Functions: Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures. Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components. Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Work overtime as needed. Demonstrate technical skill competence. Knowledge and skills to operate and understand diagnostic equipment including computerized instrumentation. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively. Knowledge of machine components and systems. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have troubleshooting experience with electrical, air and hydraulic systems. Must have your own tools. Valid driver license with acceptable driving record. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English. Superior attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Ability to be creative and negotiate solutions. Outstanding organizational skills. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Ability to work well in teams as well as independently and with minimal supervision. Must pass pre employment drug screen Education and Experience: 3 to 5 years heavy equipment mechanic experience recommended This position is Full Time, with overtime as needed.
