The Skokie Park District has immediate openings for custodians that will work at our community centers. Qualifications:  Must be a responsible and organized adult, at least 18 years of age. Prefer at least one (1) year of custodial maintenance experience but not required. The individual we seek must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.  Must possess good communication skills. Must be available to work year-round. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.   Duties:  Performs assigned custodial maintenance tasks necessary for the upkeep and cleanliness of various community centers. Duties may include room set-ups and take-downs; floor mopping; floor vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; trash removal; window washing and other tasks as requested. Keeps records and checklists of tasks performed.  Hours:  Daytime, evening and weekend shifts available; approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.
