Meet Ms. Peach, She is a one year old Black Lab mix, we’re not sure what else may be in her, sheep dog, Dalmatian, Retriever? She is quite possibly the sweetest and smartest dog I have ever owned, very affectionate and would make a great companion to someone looking for companionship. She is very attentive, watches everything I do and follows me everywhere. She’s very much a people person, with a loving personality. I have her almost trained, at least to the important things but I’m sure she can learn much more. She’s potty trained, comes when I call her, knows not to chew on things that aren’t hers. Knows not to bark continuously when in the yard. Will sit, and go lay down when directed. She’s pretty good about taking walks at human pace without pulling all the time but does still get excited when she smells or sees a critter. I have not trained her to hunt but she seems to have a disposition and nose for it. When she picks up a scent she looks like a dog in a movie tracking an escaped convict. All of her shots are up to date for 2021, I got her from a shelter around June 1st so they had her all vetted up. She’s been groomed. She loves other dogs and can live with cats too if need be. Sh’e been good with my 10 year old son, and never been aggressive to anyone. She does like to be active and needs to run at least once a day. She’s chipped and well fed. Really just a great dog. So you may be wondering why I’m giving her away, well I got her because my son wanted a dog. He is special needs and I was hoping he would bond with the dog but just hasn’t. Much like with many kids, they think they want something and when they get it, they lose interest in it. I actually like the dog and have tried to fit her into our life but I’m afraid if my son isn’t going to bond with the dog I just can’t justify the expense.
