Volunteers needed for Power Wheelchair Soccer

Boston Self Health Center (http://bostonselfhelpcenter.org/) is looking for vaccinated volunteers who could help out with our power wheelchair soccer club, the Boston Brakers, during our weekly practices. Practices are held every Saturday from 1:30 PM till 4:30 PM at the Melnea Cass Recreational Complex at 120 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Roxbury Massachusetts. Volunteers will be trained to help our wheelchair users putting metal guards on the front of their wheelchairs, setting up goalposts and practice cones and helping with practice activities such as refereeing during scrimmages in helping keep the balls in play. Practice is indoors in a fieldhouse. If you are interested, please contact Jim for more information. Also feel free to drop by practice to see what's involved.
