Element Farms is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable farmers market customer service rep who is available to drive to Brooklyn on Wednesdays and Manhattan on Saturdays and work at our farmers market stands. As our customer service sales rep, you will drive the company vehicle to New York City for our neighborhood farmers market. You will set up the tent and display and remain on-site as our sales rep throughout the day. At the end of the day, you will pack up the tent and supplies and drive the vehicle back to the greenhouse. The day begins at 5:30 AM and ends around 4 PM when you return from NYC. MARKET DAYS: Wednesday and Saturday Training will take place prior to your shift via phone call, video chat, or in-person meeting. You’re the right fit for the role if you: -Have a clean driving record (must submit to a background check) -Are friendly and outgoing -Can adhere to food safety protocol, market regulations, and COVID-19 safety procedures -Are approachable and polite -Love leafy greens -Like serving customers -Are reliable and super punctual -Multitask well Requirements: -Valid driver’s license -Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) -Must have access to reliable transportation to get to and from the greenhouse -Must adhere to food safety practices -Weekend availability Compensation: $17 / hr cash
