Responsibilities include: -All daily laundry duties for hotel/retreat center sheets, blankets, towels and linens including but not limited to loading/unloading of washers and dryers, & proper folding -Use appropriate cleaning agents for all laundry items & Follow established protocol for treating and removing stains when required -Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to Supervisor -Assist Housekeeping Staff when needed -Cleaning machine filters, removing objects left inside machines, wiping down machines in accordance with established procedures -Sweeping & mopping floors in laundry area Qualifications: -MUST have previous hospitality level laundry experience or previous commercial laundry experience. Minimum of previous cleaning or housekeeping experience. --Possess the ability to carry, lift, move items up to 50 lbs. This position requires standing and movement during an 8-hour shift -Positive attitude & teamwork, able to multi-task and must be reliable -Candidate must be able to pass background check Must be willing to undergo and successfully pass a criminal background check prior to consideration and subsequent offer of employment.
