Job description · Install or upgrade, troubleshoot and fix fire alarms in commercial buildings. · Install low voltage cable in open plenum spaces and/or piped systems for NAC, SLC, IDC circuits. · Install all types of Fire Alarm devices. (Notification, initiation, control, signaling etc.) · Be able to read and interpret plans, drawings, wiring diagrams, cutsheets and specifications. · Experience with other low voltage systems a plus. (Cameras, access controls, sound systems, intercom, etc.) · Maintain a clean and safe workspace. · High school diploma or GED certificate. · Knowledge of NFPA standards a plus (including 70 and 72) · Experience with commercial installations. · Troubleshooting skills. · Knowledge of electrical work installations is a plus. · Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. · Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation · Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
