The Warehouse staff member will perform a variety of routine shipping and receiving tasks including picking, packaging, routing, shipment of orders, loading/unloading truck shipments, receiving and stocking the warehouse shelves. This position will report directly to the Parts and Service Director. Process UPS/FedEx inbound freight Check for overnight and special orders and route to counter staff Verify accuracy of shipments and put stock away Receive orders into the system Process outbound shipments for delivery, truck and parcel freight Assist core processing and core returns to vendors File freight claims, vendor order claims Process customer parts returns Deliver and pick up parts on an as needed basis Drive company vehicles in a safe manner and obey all traffic laws Ensure orders are pulled in the most effective manner Monitor the proper loading and unloading of shipments. Stock products as needed. Ensure that the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all times. Adheres to all safety rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures at all times without exception Other duties as may be assigned QUALIFICATIONS Ability to prioritize work and perform well under pressure while successfully meeting all deadlines. Hands on experience and knowledge of warehouse operations. Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Valid driver’s license in good standing, as well as excellent, safe driving skills. Clearly legible handwriting, with excellent organization and communication skills. Experience in shipping: knowledge of bills of lading, freight bills. Packaging skills: knowledge of how material should be packed to reach its destination economically and without damage. Ability to lift 50 lbs., maneuver in/out of vehicle.
