Re-homing Young Boxer

Adopted this guy a couple of months ago from the Humane Society thus, he has no papers nor history. The vet estimates his age between 7mos-1yr. He was malnourished but is now at almost a normal weight of 44lbs. He is on oral flea, tick and worm medication as well as being current on his shots. He is an INSIDE dog that is potty and crate trained. I have been able to train him to sit, stay and walk on a leash. Reluctantly re-homing due to him not getting along with one of our senior deaf dogs. Also note that he has nipped at a couple of random strangers that attempted to approach him. We don't understand why he did this as he has behaved well with strangers on many other occasions while on walks downtown and at the beach. We are looking for a home where he will be kept INSIDE and probably best as the only dog. Due to his size and energy it would probably also be wise for him to be in a home with older kids. We will require a re-homing fee of $250 to recoup some of our costs.
