We are a high-end custom home builder seeking a full-time construction apprentice carpenter. If you are interested in developing a career in residential construction, we may be the perfect choice for you. We have projects predominantly in the North Bay area. We need someone who can perform the following tasks as they arise on a project: Assist the carpenters/foreman or site super with construction and remodeling projects. Obtain/prepare/deliver materials to the jobsite and assist in assemblies, as needed. Various carpentry tasks such windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware and knowing appropriate tools to use during construction or able to take direction to complete tasks. Ability to measure and follow instructions; ask questions when you're not clear. Using power tools safely and carefully. Ability to work cleanly, keep the jobsite(s) clean and safe and know how to lay protection as required. Useful if you know plan reading. You should have a minimum of 2-3 years in residential construction; ability to conduct yourself professionally on jobsites. Must have a clean DMV record and valid California driver's license.
