This is not my dog but I’m trying to help this poor animal from a bad situation. My daughter is renting a room in a house where this beautiful 1 year old Husky girl lives. The owner is a 15 year old who doesn’t take the dog for walks or feeds the dog. The dogs goes potty in the house and chews on shoes and furniture to get attention. My daughter has temporarily started to take care of the dog but she is soon returning back to Arizona University and won’t be able to care for the dog afterwards. The owner and her mother have agreed to surrender the dog but have refused to find a new home for the dog. The dog is good with other dogs, cats and children. She is not spayed and only has been to the vet once. She is not house trained and will pull excessively when being walked by leash. However, she is extremely smart and eager to please. She would need the right person who could train her and give her attention. I would prefer a rescue agency to foster her and do the necessary background check on her new owners.
