Precast Yard/Stripper Laborer Position Description: Precast Laborer Will perform tasks assigned by the Foreman involving the production of precast products, including finishing surfaces of poured concrete using a variety of hand and power tools. A strong work ethic and team player attitude is essential for success. 1st Shift Monday through Friday and some Saturday 6am - until the job is done. Yard Laborer If you like working outdoors year-round, you will love this job! As a Yard Laborer, you will be working ALL OUTDOOR in any kind of weather (rain/sun/snow.) 1st Shift Monday - Friday and some Saturday 6am - until the job is done. Assists the yard crew in sandblasting, patching, acid etching of concrete products. Loads concrete products. Operates front end loader if needed. Assembles concrete products. Organizes and cleans yard and removes debris. Yard maintenance, i.e., snow plowing, shoveling, salting as needed. Performs crane rigging and signaling for drivers as needed. General Laborer (Stripper) As a General Laborer, you will be loading, scraping, stripping and other duties as assigned. 1st Shift Monday - Friday 3AM -until the job is done – Typically 8 hours plus overtime. Precast Yard/Stripper Laborer Experience, Skills, and Educational Requirements: Experience working with concrete. The ability to read a tape measure and a blueprint. The ability to lift to 100 pounds several times a day. General understanding of power tools - like battery operated drills, reciprocating saw, rebar cutters, sanders, and miter saw. The ability to follow directions from supervisor. Works overtime when needed. The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions. Has good housekeeping skills. Good communication and teamwork skills Must have reliable transportation. Willingness and ability to be at work and on time every day!!! Precast Yard/Stripper Laborer $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Depending on Experience
