Looking for Full-time Maintenance Technician Position to service at a 40 unit apartment community in Mid-land Tacoma and assist with other maintenance needs at other properties when needed. This position requires reliable transportation. The person must be able to work efficiently and able to make good decisions. Hours available: 40 per week. Our Maintenance Tech Professional maintains a positive relationship with all residents and fellow associates to ensure excellent customer service. They will be responsible for the repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliances. They will perform all other duties as directed by the site Manager or Maintenance Director and assist the overall team effort in any way possible. MUST be able to use general maintenance equipment including but not limited to: Hand tools (provided by employee), ladders, required safety equipment, general carpentry and painting, able to solve problems with and repair major appliances, basic plumbing and electrical work (under supervision of O7B Certified Electrician), must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs. This position requires the ability to utilize a pager and serve on-call, as scheduled or necessary Benefits include: starting at $24 per hour (BOE), medical and other benefits, excellent working environment.
