Entry Level Maintenance Technician – Asgard Maintenance Description: Asgard Maintenance is a preferred vendor for Opal Blue Real Estate, a full-service brokerage firm and provide Property Management, Real Estate Sales Representation and Project Management that operates in Everett, Edmonds, and Seattle. We are hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to focus mainly on our Everett properties. The maintenance technician will help oversee day to day maintenance of all our Everett properties as well as help with occasional tasks in Edmonds and Seattle. The Maintenance Technician will be an integral part of the team at Asgard Maintenance and work closely with our CEO, contractors, and Property Managers. The technician’s primary responsibility will be to fill in the cracks were our regular vendors fall short. We have regular landscapers, cleaners, painters, plumbers, and carpenters but there are a lot of things that fall between the gaps. Ultimately, a successful maintenance technician should be able to satisfy both apartment tenants and apartment owners requirements by: Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Assisting with/finalizing unit turnovers when tenants move out and prepare for incoming tenants. Work required: • Touch up paint, caulking tubs, cleaning, installing doorstops and other hardware, installing smoke detectors, and ultimately making sure the Unit Turnover Checklist is completed • Responding to low level work orders. Such as: • Replacing blinds • Caulking tubs • Touch up paint • Yard clean ups • Trash removal • New doorknobs • Helping maintain all buildings in ground in good operational conditions by: • Cleaning common areas (entrances, laundry rooms, etc) • Major yard clean ups (Trimming hedges, clearing debris, landscape redesign, etc) • Trash clean up and hauling excess trash to dump Qualifications: • Previous work experience • Valid Washington State Driver’s License • High School Diploma • Ability to access Property Management Software on the job site and use it. • Ability to lift 50+ pounds Why This is a Great Opportunity: Lots of opportunity for growth, predictable work schedule, tools provided, van provided, willing to train, fast paced work environment, work closely with a lot of qualified, honest people and competitive pay.
