Looking to rehome a Retriever Mix

Please meet Garm, a 4 year old, black w/white markings, male Retriever Mix. His previous owner did not correct his fearfulness which led to him growling at their toddler. They put him in a shelter, who then decided they were going to euthanize him. I've known this dog since he was a puppy, so I pulled him out and have trained him up to be more confident. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He loves to go on walks. He lives with six other dogs of varying sizes without incident. He knows many commands and is house trained, crate trained, and incredibly smart. He is not good with cats or small children (under 5 years), unless he has a strong owner who can correct his behavior early on. I am a current foster dog mom and also volunteer with animal rescues. I want to find him a great forever home who knows what he needs to succeed. We are asking $250 to rehome him.
