Looking for a drummer for a small combo (keys, bass, drums, guitar) just getting started. We (bass, keys, guitar) played together one time with some other players and clicked musically. Hoping to make something happen if we can get a drummer. May start with some standards out of the Real Book, and go from there, according to all of our interests. Should be able to get us shows down the road if things go well. Influences: Bebop, 70s fusion, Weather Report, Wes Montgomery, Return to Forever, Herbie Hancock, funk, Miles Davis, Stuff (band), Lonnie Liston Smith, John Scofield, Medeski, Martin, & Wood, etc. Rehearsals would be weekend days in NW Austin/RR. We're all grown guys in the 30s and up with jobs, families, etc. Please be friendly, down-to-earth, a solid player, into the music listed above, and reliable. Thanks for looking!
