Seeking helper/personal assistant

Hi my name is David Silverman. I am moving to the Boston area. I feel that it would be really helpful to hire a helper/personal assistant to help me not so much in terms of nursing or that type of assistance but more in terms of helping me to get integrated and familiar with the area in assisting me in just general ways- like going shopping, helping to fix up my place, serving as a friend and/or trusted person to ask advice from about the area, more that type of helper. I would like to talk to you(preferably on the phone) if you are interested because it has to be a good fit for it to work well for both parties. I will tell you that I am 53-years old-originally from the midwest but finished high school in Los Angeles because my father was in the entertainment industry. But I developed what is now called chemical and environmental allergies out there and even though my dad did really well out there California was never a good fit for me- Boston always would have been a better fit for me. I came to Boston for the first time many years ago to visit a place called Hippocrates Health Institute(also known as The Ann Wigmore Foundation-the wheatgrass lady) and was very impressed with the people I met in the Boston area-not just the Back Bay area but Waltham, Cambridge, basically wherever I went. With my father dying just over a year ago, I have received an inheritance and for the first time in my life can realistically pick where I'd like to live rather than where all the other members of my family live which is not the northeast part of the country. I would love to hire someone who is an honest, intelligent person who this might appeal to(your hours are flexible-no more than 8 to 10 hours per week max) who knows the area well and would really like to do this type of thing to help someone even as a very part time part of your life) So if you are interested please give me a call at 515-718-6167 and we can talk and I will be glad to answer any questions you may have as I am a very open person and will tell you more about myself and my situation at that time.
