Apartment community in Saco seeking an energetic and self-motivated maintenance worker to join our team. Must be organized, dependable, and have proven proficiency with painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Under direction will assist with the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Excellent communication skills are essential as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with management and coworkers, residents, and subcontractors. All technicians participate in a rolling on-call calendar. If hired by or before July 31st, the successful candidate may be eligible for the State of Maine's Back to Work hiring bonus of $1,500. BROAD SCOPE OF DUTIES: *repairs to building appliances and fixtures *repair or replace plumbing fixtures *patch holes in walls *paint building interiors *clean vacant units and interior spaces *miscellaneous carpentry repairs *change locks *grounds keeping and landscaping Rate of pay depends on experience.
