Cosco Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager. The PM is responsible for managing fire sprinkler installation projects in commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities. The PM oversees and communicates project progression from beginning to completion including design, materials delivery, labor schedules, and field installation. They develop a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets. Conducts weekly “work in progress” meetings and participates in monthly “cost to complete” meetings. Understands and follows all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications. Ensures AHJ requirements and office procedures are followed. Coordinates change orders and drives toward overall margin improvement on every job Essential Functions •Ability to read and understand fire protection and system drawings. •Establish and maintain communication with customers and other contractors pertaining to work schedules, progress reports, change orders, etc. •Manage multiple projects and make recommendations in response to changing conditions to meet contract schedules. •Manages project budgets; identify budget changes throughout the life of the project. Submits change orders, makes WIP adjustments, and reviews billing timely to ensure the projects financial health. •Leadership skills; including ability to communicate, address personnel issues and make fair decisions related to project demands, customer service and employee assignments. •Manages project purchase orders, change orders, weekly minutes meetings. • Familiar with Microsoft Office and project management software. •5 years previous trade experience preferred.
