Sunday, August 8th, 11-5 Hugfest is what it sounds like. Gather ‘round for some hugs! Hugging is vital to living and maintaining a healthy, happy life. It reduces stress, anxiety, and depression. Come join us for some good, healing hugs. Meet some new people, get a hug-buddy to keep in touch with for frequent huggings. This is free, kid, pet, and senior friendly. We’ll have hand sanitizer and disposable masks for those who wish to wear one. We’ll have cookies and bottles of water for a little sweet treat and hydration. Stay and chat or show up for a quick hug and run. We’d love to see our community showing support for each other through hugs. This is the first Hugfest so don’t expect much. Just some folks gathering at a park to say hello and get in some good hugs. Next year we’ll aim for live entertainment and vendors. Hope to see you there and give you all a great, big loving hug!
