We are seeking a part time team member to execute janitorial and maintenance tasks for our portfolio of properties in downtown Buffalo. This role has potential to expand into a full time position with expanded responsibilities based upon skill set and desire to grow with us.
Responsibilities:
• Develop rapport with tenants to ensure superior customer service and proactive management focused on cultivating desirable and healthy communities, which will foster longer-term tenancy.
• Tour properties routinely with a keen eye for detail to review necessary maintenance and liability hazards to attend to. Report to management team and repair as directed.
• Perform basic building maintenance including, but not limited to; painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC troubleshooting, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Perform janitorial duties including, cleaning restrooms, cleaning common areas and taking out garbage.
• Shovel snow and salt walking surfaces.
• Availability to attend to emergency situations as requested.
• Ensuring work area and buildings are kept clean and maintained to building standards.

Ideal Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years janitorial experience necessary.
• Certifications in plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems a plus.
• Must be flexible, organized, motivated and maintain a positive customer service attitude.
• Frequently need to utilize personal transportation, tools and smartphone to effectively complete tasks at hand.
• Must have valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• A willingness to listen, learn and problem solve.
• Respect for tenants and management team.
Compensation:
• $13-15 per hour based on experience.
