We are looking for a part–timer that can work 15-25 hours in a dog boarding facility. We provide multiple services including boarding, daycare, grooming, hikes & walks. Although prior experience is appreciated, the job is very straightforward and easy to get a hang of so if you are trying to get into the Dog business this is a great place to work at, because you will learn a lot. Somedays you'll get dirtier than others, somedays you'll be front house and others back house. Some tasks may require the use of a computer, so the ideal candidate would have basic knowledge of how a computer works and can read, speak and write in English comfortably. A plus if you can speak Spanish but not a must. You will be taught how to do everything that you need to know in order to have a successful shift. More than likely your schedule will be very stable, meaning you will work the same opening shift or closing shift on the same day every week, so tasks will become a habit very quickly. We understand working with dogs might sound very appealing and fun but this can be a very demanding job at times. You will be working with dogs from 5 to 200 pounds. Dogs aren't always easy take care off and although you wont have to handle dog aggressive dogs, there will be dogs that wont comply very easily and patience and the safety of all dogs, even the least compliant ones, is priority. We are located right on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) in Malibu so a reliable form of transportation is very important. The crew is very small, laidback and easy to work with so it will feel like we are all very close with clients and we are very customer service driven, because some of these guests have been seeing the same faces for the last 10 years.
