Description
Greetings Deadhead Drummer!
The jam band I play in needs a drummer with knowledge of the Grateful Dead and a decent amount of performance experience, improvisational ability, and gumption!
We have a large gig on Friday the 30th playing all Grateful Dead covers for about 4 hours.
This coming weekend we are practicing much of the weekend for that show. If you have a decent amount of availability this weekend and knowledge of the dead, you’ll hit the ground running, likely have the time of your life over the next couple weeks!...and possibly for a long time.
We are a grateful dead/ phish style jam band called "Cats on a tin roof". We have been playing together for the last 3 or 4 months.
We have been playing shows & practicing every weekend, and have a few upcoming shows in the very near future and really need to fill this gap specifically for these upcoming gigs. If everything goes well musically, the dedication is there, and most importantly; the love and the passion for the music is present, we will hopefully move forward and make you our full time drummer! This is a GREAT situation for a highly talented, improvisational type drummer to shine brightly.
We have a full lineup of amazing musicians who know and love the music of the grateful dead and are wanting to keep this bus rolling with the right person. We have two great guitar players who sing, a soulful female vocalist, a well rounded bass player, and a mind blowing keyboardist.
The only thing that is missing is the right drummer and percussionist.
So if you are a well rounded and experienced drummer who knows and loves the music of the Grateful Dead, please reach out to us. We would love to jam with you, test the waters and keep the music flowing. Things like age, gender, and race don't factor in.
We will talk details. We hope to hear from you soon!
Nothing left to do but smile smile smile
