Me! I hire immigrants. They are much better workers than american born employees. Immigrants appreciate good pay. They show up every day. They work hard. They do not complain. They are not entitled. They treat my customers well. When I hire employees, I hardly ever even consider non immigrants anymore. American born workers come with a great deal of baggage. American born employees are typically late to work, entitled, want more pay than they are willing to earn, they want/need days off often, they often have bad attitudes. I require all of my employees to present paperwork to me so that I can file payroll taxes on them. Is the paperwork legal? Maybe, maybe not. But it is critical to me that every worker in america pays their fair share of taxes. This applies to immigrants as well as millionaires. If you do not pay income tax you do not belong in this country. If you eat farmed food, eat at fast food or restaurants, get your home painted or lawn mowed, then YOU hire immigrants. If you stay at a hotel or get your car washed, you hire immigrants. It’s time to offer these workers documentation and enforce ALL employers to collect payroll taxes on these workers. When lazy entitled Americans wake up, they may become a viable part of the blue collar work force once again. Until they do, I hire immigrants.
