Job description Mr. Plastic Little Rock currently has one position open. We sell plastic sheets, rods and fabricate mechanical parts, and also cut down customer orders to their specified needs. This is not warehouse work, loading and unloading with forklifts. This is hard work and working with your hands. Working as a fabricator, saw operator or driving a delivery truck is how most people start at our company. The faster you can gather the skills and product knowledge, the faster we can all perform at our peak. Requirements: Have a solid background in safe operation of a variety of specialized power tools Experience with heavy machinery; table saws, drill presses and routers and knows the safety procedures involved with them. Have a good understanding of basic math You will need to figure out yields and how to maximize material. Being a quick learner and a team player. Learning the difference in material quickly and working with others around the shop on different projects. You will be moving materials around the shop by hand and by pallets. Other Duties: Loading of material in customer and company vehicles, and unloading of material from suppliers. Cleaning up the warehouse and keeping the floor clear of debris.
