Looking for a self-driven individual to join our shop as a mobile trailer mechanic. Must be able to work independently and have a good work ethic. Duties include but not limited to: Driving to customers drop lots to check spotted trailers. Perform yard checks. Checking tires for correct air pressure. Checking lights, cables, mud flaps and adjusting brakes. Ability to change flat tires, replace lights. Perform brake service. Completing repair orders (paperwork) for units. Communicating with supervisor about repairs. Perform D.O.T inspections. Must be able to lift 70 pounds properly, squat, climb, crawl, push, pull and stand with no safety concerns. Be on time and work a full 5 days a week work shift. Must be able to handle adverse weather. Will work rain or shine. Must have current valid drivers license. Local area knowledge of geography a plus. Shift could be either Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday. Benefits available 30 days after hire date.
