Must be currently unemployed and on Colorado state unemployment Deep Cleaning Specialist / Substitute Cleaner / 1 site per day (max) Better Business Cleaning provides quality, dependable, hassle-free commercial cleaning. We are hiring for a Deep Cleaning Specialist to conduct deep cleanings in schools, office buildings, retail spaces, and other enclosed areas that may have had exposure to COVID-19 infections by their staff, customers, or family members. The role provides humanitarian aid and deters the spread of COVID-19 in high-risk indoor spaces. The role is for up to 29 hours a week, and will involve deep cleaning one site per day, starting with the schools we currently work with, then shifting to commercial businesses and government offices that have been occupied by employees, customers, vendors, or other visitors who may have been exposed to COVID-19. A deep cleaning involves a detailed cleaning of classrooms, offices, conference rooms, reception areas, restrooms, kitchens, and any area that has multiple people inside an enclosed space. After being fully cleaned, the spaces will be disinfected. Because of the nature of the work, the majority of the deep cleanings will take place at nights and on weekends when the schools and offices are closed to the public. Better Business Cleaning will provide all the training and materials (cleaning supplies, PPE, rags, etc.) necessary to safely perform the job responsibilities. Requirements Must be highly dependable with a strong customer service orientation. Must be a quick learner with a strong work ethic. Must be quality oriented with attention to detail. Must be able to understand and follow instructions. Ability to work independently and achieve work objectives with minimal immediate supervision. Must have reliable transportation. Must have a driver's license. Must be comfortable working and driving at night. Must be able to legally work in the US / Pass e-Verify. Must be able to pass a national criminal background check. Must be able to pass a drug test. Must be able to speak and understand English. Must own a smartphone that allows you to be contacted reliably. Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. without risk of injury. Knowledge and Education Prefer Commercial or Paid Residential Cleaning Experience Prefer Knowledge About Cleaning Standards / Techniques Prefer High School / GED Any of our locations throughout Denver and Northern Colorado (more or less centered around Frederick, Colorado) A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma Must have reliable transportation Night Shift & Weekend availability
