Maintenance Handyman - Deck/Porch Repair

We are a property management company looking for a handyman to work on property maintenance and renovation projects. About us: Vertex Real Estate is a small, growing, residential, third party property management company overseeing a variety of rental properties centered in Amherst, Massachusetts. We have a variety of houses, multi-unit buildings, rental condos, and small complexes. Most of our properties are in Amherst, Sunderland, Hadley, and a few in Northampton. Currently we have the following projects available: 1. We are looking for someone who can remove the wooden planks from a ground-level outdoor deck and replace the planks with new ones. We would also ask this person to assess the structure of the planks underneath the deck to determine whether the lower ones are in good shape or need to be replaced. 2. We are looking for someone who can redo a screened-in porch. We would like the screens taken down and replaced with new screening. We would also like the plywood on the bottom half of the deck to be taken out and replaced with new planking. All materials would be provided or reimbursed. If you are interested, this could turn into regular part-time work. Our maintenance work spans all the different areas of the trades: minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry repairs, trouble-shooting heating systems, appliance repair, pest/rodent control, interior painting, fixing issues with doors, windows, blinds, screens, smoke and CO detectors, roof leaks, flooding basements.
