Chess Games: Event at Volunteer Park

What do you think about an informal event where people show up to Volunteer Park with chess sets in hand (if you have one or more) and games transpire? Very informal, sitting on the ground, playing chess. I think many who happen to be there would join in. This is JUST IN THE INFANCY STAGE OF PLANNING, but I would think a weekend day where there is no other planned event. Not wanting this to be complicated...just an organic get-together of people who enjoy playing chess. Feel free to share thoughts if you are the type to attend an event like this. Not looking for ideas of food, prizes, etc. VERY informal.
