Description Under general supervision, the custodian/housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of their assigned area/ building. Position Responsibilities: The following duties are required to be performed on a daily basis and staff must have the ability to: Clean offices, restrooms, conference rooms, stairways, hallways, empty trash receptacles and replace liners in trash cans. Vacuum designated areas. Sweep and mop around machining area. Must be able to be exposed to cleaning agents, dust and odors. Requirements Physical ability necessary for sufficient mobility to walk from one building to another, bend kneel, crouch, reach, twist and stand for a length of time. Must be able to push, pull, lift or carry light to moderate heavy objects. If requested, moving/operating of heavy cleaning equipment may be necessary. Able to lift 50lbs. Custodial experience is preferred but not required Must be able to work Monday – Friday, 1:00pm – 7:30pm.
