Yes, they really are dumb enough to believe that conservative northerners fought to force the liberal south to keep slaves against their will. And that the KKK was created to enforce equality among races and all other liberal views. And that John Wilkes Booth killed Lincoln because he was incensed that Lincoln was demanding a continuation of slavery. And that liberals lynched blacks in the south because the blacks refused to accept being freed and equal. And that conservatives demanded integration and equality with blacks in the south but liberals sent federal troops in to make sure it didn't happen. Yep. That's really their version of history that they were taught in their ignorance loving small town racist schools. No wonder they're all poor and stupid.
