JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – Full-Time Forester Inland Forest Management, Inc., a dynamic consulting forestry company based in Sandpoint, Idaho, is currently accepting resumes for a full-time permanent position in the Inland Northwest area. Further information regarding the position follows. POSITION DUTIES • Private forest landowner assistance • Forest management plan preparation • Timber sale layout and administration • Tree planting layout and supervision • Assessing private forestland for forest health and wildfire risk • Forest inventory • Prescribed burning and wildfire suppression MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from an accredited school • One-year field forestry experience • Strong oral and written communication skills • Wildland firefighter experience desirable, but not required • Forest inventory skills desirable, but not required • High level of physical fitness SALARY • Competitive with industry standards, based on experience Other Positions Available: • Wildland Fire Fighters Wanted If interested in either position, please send a resume and cover letter to Mike Wolcott at the email address.
