Halifax Paving is seeking to fill a general labor position. Daily duties will vary but generally do not require experience. Duties/Responsibilities: • Moving, securing, loading, or unloading materials as directed in plans or by supervisor • Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor • Shoveling, raking, etc. to dig, fill and level ground. • Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment • Clean up, punch list items, etc. as needed Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions. • Ability to remain flexible as specific assignments change. • Ability to work with a variety of personalities. • Frequently required to sit, climb, and pull/push. Occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
