We are seeking an Entry Level Dental Technician to join our team! POSITION SUMMARY: Provides a key role in the manufacturing fixed or removable dental appliances. SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Must pass aptitude math and dexterity test. Must have good production skills. Requires excellent fine motor skills (dexterity test will be given to determine skill level). Able to sit at bench and work for up to two hour intervals. Able to stand and work for up to two hour intervals. Must be able to read and comprehend English to work from a prescription. Must be detail oriented. Able to work in a fast paced environment under a time schedule deadline. Able to multi-task and organize work for the day. High-energy person that's excited to be a part of a team that provides a valued health care service that positively affects others. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required. Requires the skill and touch of an artist. SOME DENTAL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED - but WILL TRAIN. When applying please include if you could be any animal what you would be and why. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Meets the minimum unit production standards established for this position. Understands sequential steps of position and scheduling priorities. Comprehends standard operating procedures as well as those of individual products. Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance. Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. Displays excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm under courteous under pressure. Respectfully takes direction from manager. Other duties as assigned. This is a flexible career offering several opportunities for advancement and onsite training. STARTING SALARY RANGE: $15-$17/hour depending on experience.
