I'm just waiting for those things to be passed. I expect a major lawsuit just after passage. My wife and I both spend significant dollars on education; thru loans. I would expect that any legislation that pays a student's loans would also include prior students. Wouldn't that be fair? If anyone can come up with an argument explaining why it would only apply to current students, I'd love to hear it. You can also add into that explanation, what you're planning to do for all of the future student debt? Is the plan to pay for ALL college from now on? If you're not going to reimburse me for my college debts, then explain why MY taxes should go to pay your student loans?
