The Working Families Party IE Committee is currently growing our team to help elect progressive candidate Nina Turner to Congress in Ohio District 11! Working Families Party is a grassroots political party fighting for a district that meets the needs of working families. We elect candidates who share our values and organize campaigns to advance progressive policies. Together we’re building a movement to build an Ohio for the many, not the few. We can only do this together - join our team! An Election Canvasser will: Engage with registered voters in meaningful, one-on-one conversations connecting their values to WFP endorsed candidate, Nina Turner, who will be a champion for economic, social, and racial justice Educate voters on the candidate & Vote-by-Mail and Early Voting process. Work in a team environment to set and accomplish campaign goals Qualifications: People of all experience levels and backgrounds encouraged to apply! Commitment to progressive politics and policies Ability to knock on an average of 75 doors per shift Great communication skills Smart phone or tablet Reliable transportation Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay: $16.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: From $16.00 per hour
